Our range of 250mm and 300mm uPVC Gate Valves come complete with stainless steel paddles and handles. Large uPVC Gate Valves are a lightweight and cost effective alternative to steel valves. They offer full port with no restrictions. The manual operated gate allows for quick open and close. uPVC Gate Valves are suitable for irrigation applications and aquaculture industries.

Gate Valves, suitable for low pressure applications are available from 40mm -150mm, non-pressure valves are available from 90mm – 300mm

PVC Swing Check Valve

PVC Swing Check Valve’s are a common check valve that is used to allow flow in one direction. The valve has a swinging door like apparatus in the body of the valve which opens up to allow flow and closes to prevent backflow. PVC swing check valves are easy to install offering solvent weld sockets to suit uPVC AS/NZS1477 pressure pipes. They can be used in a variety of applications however they are commonally used for irrigation, pool building or home plumbing systems. These valves have a max open pressure of 150 PSI and a maximum temperature rating of 60° degrees Celsius. Fusion Qld stock a complete range of PVC Swing Check Valves available from 25mm to 100mm.

A Ball Valve is a manually operated valve that can be used to both isolate and regulate flow in any system. These valves work in similar fashion to a butterfly valve, allowing for a fast shutoff when necessary. . PVC ball valves can be used in a variety of applications where precise flow pressure is not required. Did you know that Fusion Queensland and Fusion Melbourne are one of only a few suppliers in Australia to stock 375mm PVC Pressure Fittings? We keep a comprehensive range of large bore PVC pressure fittings and valves from 80mm all the way up to 375mm. Large bore PVC fittings are suitable for commercial pool projects, large irrigation jobs and civil projects. Our Large bore pressure fittings are compatible with Series 1 PVC-U pressure pipes manufactured to AS/NZS 1477 and Series 1 PVC-M pressure pipes manufactured to AS/NZS 4765.

Our Queensland office recently completed a commercial project that entailed 375mm Elbows, Tees, Reducing Tees and Reducing Couplings. Warehouse manager Nathan Moore captured the below images only a few days before the fittings were put in the ground.

Full Faced Stub Flange – Maxi Stub

Fusion Qld stock a complete range of Polyethylene Maxi Stub available from both our Fusion Queensland and Fusion Melbourne locations. A Maxi Stub is a PE (Polyethylene) Flange that has a full face. Maxi Stub’s are used to adapt PE to PVC, Steel or Ductile Pipe fittings. Our range of Full Faced Stub Flange are all drilled to Table D and come complete with SS316 Backing Rings.

Polyethylene (PE) fittings have been used in Australia and New Zealand since the mid 1950’s. Whilst initially in small diameters for industrial and agricultural applications, polyethylene pipes and fittings are now available in diameters as large as 2000mm.

The PE100 polyethylene resin used in pipes and fittings are pre-compounded, complying with AS/NZS 4129. Anti-oxidants are used to inhibit oxidation of the polymer at the compounding stage and during subsequent processing.
