Made to AS4087, AS2129 and ANSI standards and manufactured to the PIPA industry standard guidelines, our range of Backing Rings and Flanges are available in sizes from 20mm – 800mm.

A Backing Flanges is a circular metal ring, made from either Galvanised Steel or Stainless Steel with holes around the perimeter. Backing rings are generally used in pairs to bolt two pieces of pipe together or for the pipeline to be connected to a valve or fitting depending on the final application requirements. Connecting with a backing ring or flange allows lengths of pipe to be disconnected and re-connected for inspection, replacement or relocation. The internal diameter of the backing ring should always be slightly larger than the outside diameter of the pipe.
