Description
The RTC 710 is a professional rotary scraper that can be used in the preparation of pipes and fittings before Electrofusion welding.
Practical and handy, this pipe scraper removes the oxidation layer caused by weather and ultraviolet rays. If not removed, the oxidation layer could severely compromise the quality of the joint. One of the main construction features is a device that maintains a constant thickness of the continuous chip, even if the pipe is misshaped. This device also adjusts the length of the surface to scrape according to the depth of the Electrofusion Fitting.
The RTC 710 features an extendable arm to scrape the exact length of the Electrofusion Fitting, which is an advantage when having to perform maintenance or repair jobs on site. The main chuck has four extendable arms that clamps directly to the inside diameter of the pipe.
