SCHEDULE 80 uPVC FITTINGS
Aligned with manufacturers who produce quality fittings, Fusion Qld offers an extensive range of Schedule 80 uPVC Pipe and Fittings that are suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing applications. Schedule 80 uPVC is dark grey in colour and is more corrosion resistant and durable than other PVC products, making it suitable for chemical applications such as factories, wastewater and chemical processing plants. Made to ASTM D2467 and ASTM D1785 standard guidelines, our range of Schedule 80 uPVC Pipe and Fittings have a maximum operating temperature of 60°C (140°F). Schedule 80 uPVC is one of the most widely used piping materials in the world due to it being cost-effective, lightweight and easy to install. Schedule 80 uPVC is capable of handling higher pressures than other PVC applications. PVC does not pit, scale or breakdown when exposed to moisture. One of the greatest benefits of schedule 80 uPVC is its resistance to a range of chemicals. It is resistant to most salts, acids, bases, oxidants and more. Fusion Qld recommends that you always refer to chemical resistance data prior to installation to be certain that Schedule 80 uPVC is the right product for your application. A pipe’s ‘schedule’ refers to its wall thickness. PVC pipe is categorized by its size and schedule, the larger the schedule, the thicker the walls. Thicker walls allow for higher pressure applications. All PVC pipe has the same outer diameter no matter what the schedule, however larger schedule pipe like Schedule 80 uPVC, has a more restricted flow than smaller schedule pipe of the same size. Schedule 80 uPVC Pipe and Fittings can be installed using the solvent cementing joining technique and as a result is very easy to connect. Fusion Qld supplies an extensive range of Solvents and Primers and highly recommends that you pair our fittings with our solvents to ensure a quality finish. Fusion Qld offers an extensive range of Schedule 80 uPVC Pipe and Fittings available in sizes from 1/2″ – 12″ from both our Queensland and Victorian locations.

VALVES
Fusion Qld has been a leader in the distribution of uPVC Valves throughout Australia for over 2 decades. Aligned with manufacturers who produce quality fittings, Fusion QLD offers an extensive range of uPVC Valves that are suitable for use in the plumbing, pool building and irrigation industries. Made to AS/NZS1477 standards with Watermark Certification our range of uPVC Valves have a maximum operating temperature of 60°C (140°F) and are typically white or grey in colour. uPVC Valves are commonly used to regulate the flow and pressure within piping systems. Valves control fluid flow in motors, plumbing, irrigation, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Due to the ease of connection, uPVC offers a lower installation cost. uPVC is also known as PVC or PVC-U and are manufactured from un-plasticised polyvinyl chloride polymer. A pipe’s ‘PN’ or ‘Class’ rating refers to its wall thickness. It is categorized by the size of the pipe and also the thickness of the wall. The higher the PN rating, the thicker the wall. Thicker walls allow for applications that are higher in pressure. All uPVC pipe has the same outer diameter, but it is the internal wall that varies in size. uPVC pipe has smooth, seamless interior walls that require no special tools for cutting, which contributes to its ease of application.
